A summary of the season:
We had 30 boys and girls play Ultimate frisbee with the Stingers this year, which was enough for a 3rd grade team and a 4th/5th grade team.
Our season included practices, games, tournaments, playing with school friends, teamwork, throwing and catching, sportsmanship, exercise, weather, snacks, and tons of fun.
Spirit of the Game, a positive attitude and respect for other players, is a key component of ultimate, which is self-refereed. We are thrilled to congratulate our 3rd graders on winning the overall league's Spirit of the Game award!
Our 4th/5th graders played in one final tournament, and went 1-1, showing a great attitude in both victory and defeat. It's character-building, right?
Good luck to our graduating 5th graders, and we look forward to welcoming new teammates next year.
